Botox® Cosmetic is a proven winner, and the number one Botox treatment in the world. More than 11 million people have had Botox procedures, which require no surgery, need no recovery time, and have noticeably positive outcomes. Botox treatments are usually for forehead lines, crows feet, and frowns between the brows (glabella).

After consultation, one of our onsite board certified dermatologist injects Botox into muscle so the muscles can relax. No anesthesia is needed, and, if there is any discomfort, it is minimal and brief. The entire process takes less than 10 minutes and results are seen in 7-10 days.

Botox cosmetic lasts for approximately 3-4 months. Some patients return at about 3 to 4 months while some patients wait longer. All treatments are individualized for the patient. The most common side effect is pain at injection site.

Cosmetic fillers are used to restore volume as well as fill wrinkles to instantly create a more youthful, rejuvenated look. Pricing varies by product. Your physician will guide you through options.

Many factors can influence skin aging, including gravity, changes in weight, and sun exposure. As a result of skin aging we begin to develop wrinkles and folds, however, we can fight this aging process by using cosmetic facial fillers.

These injectable facial fillersfill in wrinkles and folds, and reveal a younger you. Some of the best facial fillers include Juvaderm®, Voluma®, and Radiesse®.

Though most commonly injected into the smile lines (nasolabial folds), cosmetic facial fillers can also be used to benefit other locations, including lips, cheeks, hands, and even ear lobes. Not only do these agents help reduce wrinkles and folds, they can also improve the appearance of scars.

After consultation, one of our on site board certified physicians in our Riverside, MO, office will inject the facial filler into the desired location. Topical anesthesia may be used, depending on the location and patient preference; anesthesia will also be in the filler to decrease pain during injection.

After injecting the facial filler, the patient may have some swelling, but downtime is minimal, and the patient can return to work (or leisure) immediately. Ice is recommended for the first 24-48 hours to help decrease swelling, and patients are encouraged to avoid massaging the treated area to avoid accidently relocating the product to an undesired location. These cosmetic facial fillers usually last from between 6 to 18 months, depending upon where they were injected, and on touch ups.

KYBELLA™ (deoxycholic acid) injection, the first and only FDA-approved non-surgical injectable used to contour and improves the appearance of moderate to severe submental fullness, also known as the double chin. Treatments take as little as 20 minutes and most patients experience visible results in 2-4 treatments.

When injected into the fat under your chin, Kybella causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. After the aesthetic response is achieved, retreatment with Kybella is not expected.
