Brian Matthys, DO
Brian Matthys, DO is a graduate of Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Postgraduate studies followed at Ohio University and completed in 2000. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology in the Department of Internal Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Dr. Matthys is the founder and Chief Medical Officer of Sunflower Dermatology and Medical Day Spa whose mission is better skin for a better life®
Dr. Matthys is a member and past president of Kansas City Dermatologic Society. He is also a member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Photobiology, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Matthys is a participant of Northland Healthcare Access, whose purpose is to provide care to the under or uninsured living in the Northland of Kansas City Missouri. He is also a past member on the Board of Directors of the Jellybean Conspiracy, a theater of kindness whose mission is to include the gifts and creativity of children and young adults with disabilities within the structure of a theatrical play. Dr. Matthys is co-founder of Fair and Fashionable™, a charitable organization created to transform the belief that tanned skin is healthy, beautiful and in-style.
Molly B. Menser, DO
Molly B. Menser, DO originally from Minnesota, is a Kansas City trained dermatologist. She is a 2007 graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where she was presented the President’s Award a top honor given by the University President. She completed her internship at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her dermatologic training followed at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
While completing her training in dermatology, Dr. Menser developed a passion for educating children, adolescents and adults on the prevention of skin cancer.
Dr. Menser is a board certified dermatologist and Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American Osteopathic Association.
Nicholas A. Rudloff, DO
Nicholas A. Rudloff, DO was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at Denison University in Granville, Ohio in 2004. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa in 2008 where he was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi Osteopathic Honor Society.
Dr. Rudloff is board certified in Internal Medicine having completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine through the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Summa Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He served as Chief Resident for the program in 2010-2011. He completed a second residency in Dermatology through the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and served as the Dermatology Chief Resident in 2013-1014. Dr. Rudloff is a member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Osteopathic Association. He is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Lynn Swafford, PA-C was born and raised in central Kansas. In 2009, she completed her undergraduate studies in Manhattan, KS, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kansas State University. Lynn then relocated to Wichita, KS, to begin her Physician Assistant education and training. In July of 2014, she graduated from Wichita State University with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies.
Lynn is a board-certified Physician Assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Paige Landry, MS, PA-C was born and raised in New England. She graduated from Connecticut College with a double major in behavioral neuroscience and psychology. After working in clinical research in Boston for 2 years she went on to complete a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Since 2014 Paige has been working as a physician assistant in dermatology in both Boston area and in Providence, Rhode Island.
Paige and her husband moved to Kansas City last summer to be near family and joined the Sunflower Dermatology team in October 2018.
Paige is a board certified Physician Assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She completed a SDPA dermatology fellowship program and is recognized as a Diplomate Fellow.
